In the spirit\u00a0of the Sock Monkey tradition, Nicole teamed up with the artist Re Jin Lee whose four\u00a0delicately\u00a0stark\u00a0drawings depict a sapling\u00a0braving the four seasons. The final effect accomplishes the goal that\u00a0SMP\u00a0set\u00a0at its conception: the images, without fail, amplify the voice of the poems; the poems, in concert with the images, masterfully accent the utterance of the drawings they\u00a0accompany.\u00a0A confluence of the visual and the word brings forth\u00a0a creation which courageously\u00a0conveys what Nicole has been\u00a0revealing about us, her listeners,\u00a0to date.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We are\u00a0honored to house this book of poetry. Nicole, with\u00a0the same poise she has\u00a0used to enthuse audiences for years, has\u00a0gathered an awe-inspiring\u00a0collection of poems.
